Funeral Pre-Planning Can Make It Easier

“My mom pre-arranged everything. It made it so much easier for us. I told my husband we should do this for our kids too”.

When Tamara Kapcheck’s mom passed away, it was hard. Very hard on the kids. Dealing with the grief was difficult. In this case, arriving at Glueckert Funeral home, they realized that Tamara’s mom had pre-planned everything. Even the flower selection. Tamara and her husband knew for sure that everything her mom wanted was seen to and taken care of, and most important; perfect, just as she wanted it. “It just made things so much easier for us. I told my husband that this is something we should do for our kids. Because it’s hard on the kids”, she shares.

“Everything that was done was wonderful” according to Tamara. Her mom continued to be generous even after her life here. There are many options for Pre-planning that families can choose from simple selections and preferences to be kept on file, up to pre-funding arrangements. Many financial planners are adding this service to the portfolios of their clients. At Glueckert Funeral Home, our professionals are always available to discuss pre-planning at no cost and with no obligation; just to answer any and all of the questions you may have.

Funeral Care that Creates a Beautiful Memory Picture.

“The very first thing we noticed and felt, was just how beautiful my mom looked”

Barb Clement and her husband Dave knew the difficult health struggles Barb’s mom had during her last few months of life with frequent visits to hospital and rehab. Dave was very close to Barb’s mom Gloria and spent a lot of time with her during her long and trying illnesses. The Glueckert Family took care of Barb’s father many years before, and they knew they could entrust them again when Gloria passed away. What was most striking to Barb and Dave was how beautiful Gloria looked and how important that would be to her. The Glueckert Family understands how important this is to every family and that in their final remembrance they can keep the memory of “beautiful”. That is our mission with every family we serve.

Dave’s response was “I couldn’t imagine referring friends or family to anyone else. From the start to the service, all the way through to seeing Gloria looking so beautiful”, they took amazing care of us. Again.”

Choosing Cremation offers many options for Families.

A number of families today choose Cremation as a final disposition, most often honoring the wishes of their loved one. Families also have a choice of a variety of options that conclude with Cremation. It’s commonplace to have visitations with the loved one present in a casket, or an urn display with a prominent photograph of your loved one. Memorial Services are also gaining popularity as it removes some urgency on the logistics of assembling family and friends on short notice. Glueckert Funeral Home has a special urn carrying device called a “Bennett” which allows for the inclusion of pall-bearers in a ceremony including the urn being transferred at the funeral home, a place of worship and cemeteries.

“Families are extremely pleased and sometimes surprised to learn that many of the services of a traditional service remain available to them when Cremation is chosen as final disposition” states Sam Resch, a long-serving Funeral Director at Glueckert Funeral Home. Sam adds that the Glueckert Family’s mission is to treat every client family like their own family and see to it that we carry out your wishes to our fullest and very best capabilities”. That mission occurs no matter what services a family may choose in saying their final goodbyes to their loved ones. Sam and every member of the Glueckert Family take this mission very seriously. You only have one opportunity to honor a person you’ve loved and lost.

We Listen

“Our objective is to serve our families to their highest capacity”, states Matthew Bennett, Manager and Funeral Director at Glueckert Funeral Home. Citing a cohesive staff with many specialties and areas of expertise, truly learning what the desires and needs of every family are, Matthew believes this is what separates this Family Funeral Home from others. The “Family” part is vital too. The Glueckert Family is dedicated to their community and the families they have served for generations. This offers Matthew and the entire family and professional staff “the ability, the resources and the freedom to meet all the customized needs a family desires”.

From Matt’s point of view, he calls that a great reward in that he can “listen” to a family and specialize in providing them the services they want and care deeply about.
